Casting News + Scoop! [May 25-31] The continuing saga of Japanese school-youth movies and doramas: Boku-tachi ga Yarimashita + Tomodachi Game + Demekin!

The latest casting news for Kubota Masataka’s Boku-tachi ga Yarimashita, Kentaro’s Demekin, and Yoshizawa Ryo’s Tomodachi Game is up! From One Litre of Tears, Hana Yori Dango and Gokusen to the more recent Suzuki Sensei, 35-Year-Old Highschool Student and Aogeba Toutoshi, Japanese school dramatic saga (not to mention the horror-thriller genre) continues!

The Year in Review: Breakout Actors of 2016

Kentaro - Breakout Japanese actor 2016

Last year, we feature a lot of ‘new’ faces (perhaps to some who are new to the Japanese entertainment scene), but then again, these very same actors are now playing a lot of the major roles in movies and dramas.
